WAYS TO USE PLANTS IN DÉCOR
Many of us dream of decorating our houses with vibrant plants and flowers, but only a select few can make this dream a reality. Even if there are several low-maintenance choices, plant life still needs attention and care. Your efforts, however, will be dwarfed by the sense of serenity and tranquility that your property will exude once the greenery has been planted. Now is the time to act. If you haven’t already, go ahead and take some of these ideas home with you.
Plants on the window ledge
Many people in urban areas can’t appreciate the view of any garden because of the city’s limited open space. Indoor landscaping, on the other hand, is a great way to bring nature into your own house! Potted and hanging plants in your window can help you relax and enjoy the scenery.
Check if the plant can be kept indoors before purchasing it. It’s common for people to use aloe vera plants, bamboo palms, or English ivy in their homes.
Make sure the plant gets light, water, and supplements. Long-stored soil can make the area damp and smelly, so use non-absorbent surfaces like stones, vitrified tiles, and marble around the plant base. You must give the plant room to grow to its full size.
Plant close to a skylight or a set of stairs
The presence of a skylight or staircase in the center of the room can make for an excellent setting for a characteristic root. There are many reasons why the staircase should be the most interesting thing in the room.
Make it a passageway.
Given the amount of space available in the corridor, you have the option of either putting in a flowerbed, erecting a potted wall, or hanging planters. Choose plants that do not need direct sunlight because it is difficult to cultivate plants in hallways.
Create an indoor garden
It is entirely possible to cultivate a garden within the limits of your very own home! You can install a skylight above the indoor garden and enclose it with glass to make it weatherproof. Once the sun starts to shine in the winter, set up some bamboo furniture, a swing, or even a simple rocking chair. Allow yourself to bask in the warmth for as much or as little time as you feel you need.
Use Dried-out plants
The bare branches of trees have a natural beauty that is all their own, and they can take on the appearance of a sculpture. They don’t need any maintenance, so that’s a plus, and they last far longer than live ones.
Use them as accessories
Plants and shrubs can be used to make even the smallest of spaces appear larger and more interesting.
